Design
As an artist, I understand the importance of good visual aides. Making various designs that are simple, eye-catching, and informative are crucial, especially when posting on the web, because they're what hook people in. Without a good graphic, a story could go completely unnoticed because people's eyes would skim past the image.

I enjoy experimenting in design, so you can find other examples of original graphics I made on the Web/Social Media and Commitment to Diversity pages. Although I have used Canva and Adobe templates for inspiration and change certain aspects, none of the designs pictured on any page were based on a preexisting template.
Design Examples:

I drew the installation art piece on my own, pulling inspiration from a trend at our school. Afterwards, I added text in a matching font. This went along with a recurring feature on art around the world.

This is a mock yearbook page (for my Leadership in Media Class) that I did for a project in my Adobe Visual Design class. It was my first time using Adobe Indesign.

Another graphic for an article, this one featuring various popular book covers. I made it on Canva, but, like the other pieces here, didn't use a template.
